This unappealing chapter
It’s time to start a new chapter, my dearest darling wife
The one when we will be apart, an unappealing life
Whilst you rest and wait for me, I have no choice my dear
I have to carry on for now, until my time is here
The chapter closed is not the end, the story of our life
This new one is but for a while, my lovely perfect wife
Sleep peacefully now, you’re time has come, your time to have a rest
And wait for our reunion day, once I’ve finished this test
I have no choice, I have to wait, my job is not yet done
I don’t know what new tasks I face, without my lovely one
But I am sure you’ll help me dear, albeit from afar
I know that I can count on you, you’re still my guiding star
Wait patiently, I know you will, until this time is done
When our new chapter will begin, my lovely, only one
The one where I am back with you, the sun will rise again
The time for happiness my dear, with no more hurt or pain
